PRESSO FONDERIE has always adopted a Pull type production system owing to the efficient plant layout.
The warehouse is managed in such a way as to allow rationalisation of production and logistics, ensuring top quality service to the customer. The Just in Time method is applied in conjunction with the Kanban technique, resulting in high reliability, reduction of stocks and lead time ( "jit and kanban" section). The system was implemented 15 years ago with the partner Black & Decker.
The pieces leave our plant every day in suitable packages, metal wire bins or cardboard containers on pallets, which directly reach the customer’s production lines with no further checks and controls clearly with all the benefits in terms of quality and cost reduction.
PRESSO FONDERIE owns two trucks with a capacity respectively of 12 and 52 quintals and avails of the collaboration of two forwarders who run daily deliveries all over Italy.
